POV: You’re standing in front of the skin care aisle, looking for products that cater to your specific needs. You peruse through the shelves, picking up brands and products that catch your eye, but the ingredients are overwhelming and too technical to make sense of.

We get it. We’ve been there.

This all-too-common frustrating scenario is exactly why we brought on an expert board as part of our team from day 1. Each and every ingredient and formulation is vetted by this highly seasoned group, and we couldn’t be more grateful for their expertise. When it comes time to develop products, we first listen to our consumer and understand where she’s feeling a void. We take careful notes and present to our expert board, and together we brainstorm skin and body solutions rooted in Ayurveda and modern science.

Let’s meet the experts shall we?...

Dr. Suchismita Paul is a board-certified dermatologist who received her bachelor’s degree from Cornell University and a joint MD from Harvard Medical School and MIT, followed by her dermatology residency at the University of Miami. She is dedicated to patient advocacy and education on evidence-based medicine in dermatology, especially for skin of color and particularly among South Asians.

Nidhi Pandya is a third generation Ayurvedic practitioner with a strong foundation in ancient Ayurvedic texts. She is passionate about simplifying core Ayurvedic concepts, making them applicable and comprehensible to all. She is currently working on two books and an Ayurveda inspired method to intuitive wellness called The Inner Climate™.

Lalita Iyer is a cosmetic chemist and received her Master’s degree in Biotechnology from Johns Hopkins University and Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Rutgers University. Lalita’s passion and immense experience lies in developing skincare solutions tailored to consumer needs. She has worked with some of the leading global skincare brands in the beauty industry, and is seasoned in formulating, regulatory and product development from ideation to launch.

Dr. Sanghita Khosla is an MD in Alternative Medicine and is a specialized Dermatologist. She holds a MBBS Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery. Her wealth of experience as a Dermatologist, Pranic Energy Healer, and Alternative Medicine Specialist and personal life journey have given her a deep appreciation for compassion, self-reflection and the power of inner balance – all of which remain as pillars of her Ayurvedic practice today.

Heleen Kibbelaar holds a Bachelors and Master’s Degree in Chemistry, and is currently pursuing a PhD in experimental physics. As part of her current curriculum, she focuses on the behavior of cosmetic (including skincare) products such as creams, serums, and more.

And last but not least, the visionary behind indē wild…

Diipa, born and raised in India, grew up around ancient Ayurvedic remedies. Plus, her mother (Momi) was and is a practicing Ayurvedic doctor and dermatologist, and so science and tradition co-existed as part of daily life in the Khosla household.

Fast forward to her teenage years, Diipa, like so many, struggled with significant acne for over a decade. For years, she felt the need to fit into society’s definition of “flawless beauty” and would hide her blemishes. The result – a feeling of immense self-consciousness. Something had to be done, and so she evaluated her regime and took intentional Ayurvedic and science-backed steps to find lasting solutions. It worked!

And so indē wild was written in the stars. It represents a journey to self-love while celebrating differences, culture and science in the same breath.
